Biography
Jeff Fisher, born on February 25, 1958, in Culver City, California, is a former National Football League (NFL) player and a prominent football coach. He played college football at the University of Southern California, where he was a defensive back. Fisher entered the NFL when he was drafted in the seventh round of the 1981 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, beginning a playing career that spanned seven seasons, including tenures with the Bears, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the San Francisco 49ers.
After retiring as a player, Fisher transitioned into coaching, eventually becoming the head coach of the Tennessee Titans from 1994 to 2010. Under his leadership, the Titans reached Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000 but narrowly lost to the St. Louis Rams.
