Jeff Nelson, born on December 18, 1972, in Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his versatility as a forward. He began his career in junior hockey with the Niagara Falls Thunder in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he showcased his scoring ability, earning recognition as a promising young talent. Nelson was selected in the fourth round, 83rd overall, by the New Jersey Devils in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft.
Throughout his career, Nelson played for several teams in the National Hockey League (NHL), including stints with the New Jersey Devils, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and the Philadelphia Flyers. He participated in a total of 107 NHL games, recording 18 goals and 17 assists.
