Jeff Van Note, born on February 7, 1946, in the United States, is a former professional American football player known for his longevity and excellence in the National Football League (NFL). A center, Van Note played the entirety of his career with the Atlanta Falcons, joining the team as an undrafted free agent in 1969. Over his 17-season tenure, he became a cornerstone of the Falcons' offensive line and a respected leader in the locker room.
Throughout his career, Van Note was recognized for his durability and reliability, starting in an impressive 240 games, a franchise record at the time of his retirement in 1986. He earned Pro Bowl honors in 1975 and was a key player in some of the Falcons' most successful seasons, including their first trip to the playoffs in 1978.
