Biography
Jermon Bushrod, born on August 19, 1984, in Killeen, Texas, is a former professional American football offensive tackle. He played college football at Towson University, where he developed the skills that propelled him into the National Football League (NFL). Bushrod was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
During his tenure with the Saints from 2007 to 2013, Bushrod became a key component of the team's offensive line, contributing to their victory in Super Bowl XLIV in 2010. His performance earned him two Pro Bowl selections in 2011 and 2012, reflecting his recognition as one of the top tackles in the league. Following his successful stint in New Orleans, he signed with the Chicago Bears, where he played until 2017.
Bushrod concluded his career with the Miami Dolphins in the 2018 season, further solidifying his legacy in the NFL. Known for his strong blocking skills and ability to protect quarterbacks, Bushrod has left an indelible mark on the teams he played for and is remembered as a reliable offensive lineman in a highly competitive league.
