Biography
Jerry Olsavsky, born on March 29, 1967, in Cleveland, Ohio, is a former professional American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Philadelphia Eagles. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he distinguished himself as a talented defensive player, earning All-American honors in his senior year. Following his collegiate success, Olsavsky was selected by the Steelers in the 6th round of the 1990 NFL Draft.
Olsavsky made his mark in the NFL primarily as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1990 to 1995. During his tenure with the Steelers, he was known for his work ethic and defensive prowess, contributing to the team’s success during a competitive era in the league.
