Jerry Reichow, born on May 19, 1934, was a prominent American football player known for his versatility as a wide receiver, quarterback, and punter. He played college football at the University of Minnesota, where he garnered attention for his exceptional athletic skills and leadership on the field. Following his collegiate success, Reichow was selected in the 19th round of the 1956 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.
Reichow spent the majority of his professional career with the Detroit Lions from 1956 to 1963, where he became a key contributor to the team’s offense.
