Jerry Sharp is a former professional American football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) from 1996 to 2005. Born on March 15, 1974, in Atlanta, Georgia, Sharp attended the University of Georgia, where he had a standout collegiate career that paved the way for his entry into the NFL. He was selected in the fourth round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers.
