Jim Archibald, born on June 6, 1961, in Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his contributions as a left winger. Archibald played junior hockey with the Ontario Hockey Association's (OHA) Peterborough Petes before being drafted 30th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. His career in the National Hockey League (NHL) spanned from 1981 to 1986, during which he played for teams including the Buffalo Sabres, Minnesota North Stars, and the New Jersey Devils.
