Jim Breech, born on April 11, 1956, is a former American football placekicker known for his successful career in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of California, Berkeley, before being selected in the fifth round of the 1979 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. Breech spent the majority of his professional career with the Bengals, becoming a key contributor to the team's special teams unit.
Breech is best remembered for his clutch kicking during the Bengals' run to Super Bowl XXIII in the 1988 season, where he scored several pivotal field goals.
