Jim Keough, born on May 27, 1946, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman renowned for his contributions to the sport during the 1960s and 1970s. A product of junior hockey in Ontario, Keough showcased his skill set and physical play, which soon caught the attention of scouts in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the New York Rangers in 1965 and made his NHL debut in the 1966-67 season.
