Jim Midgley, born on March 5, 1978, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his skill as a right winger. Midgley began his junior career with the Toronto Marlies in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) before being selected in the 6th round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. He developed a reputation for his scoring ability and competitive spirit, leading to a successful collegiate career at St. Lawrence University, where he excelled in the NCAA.
