Biography
Jim Zorn was born on May 10, 1953, in Whittier, California. He played college football at the University of California, Davis, where he gained recognition for his skills as a quarterback. Zorn was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1975 NFL Draft, becoming the team's first starting quarterback and leading them in the inaugural season.
Over his 11-year professional career, Zorn played primarily for the Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers, amassing impressive statistics including over 21,000 passing yards and 111 touchdown passes. He earned Pro Bowl selections in 1980 and 1981, and was known for his strong arm and ability to make plays under pressure. Zorn was a key figure in the development of the Seahawks franchise and left a lasting impact on the team’s history.
