Joakim Lindström, born on December 5, 1983, in Östersund, Sweden, is a retired professional ice hockey player recognized for his skilled offensive play. Lindström was drafted in the third round, 87th overall, by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He spent several years developing his skills in Sweden before moving to North America to compete in the NHL and AHL.
Throughout his career, Lindström played for multiple teams, including the Detroit Red Wings, Columbus Blue Jackets, and several clubs in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
