Biography
Joe Jacoby, born on July 6, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, is a former professional American football offensive tackle who played 13 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), predominantly with the Washington Redskins. He was selected by the Redskins in the third round of the 1981 NFL Draft after a successful college career at the University of Louisville, where he showcased his exceptional athleticism and versatility on the field.
Jacoby was an integral part of the Redskins' offensive line during one of the franchise's most successful eras in the 1980s and early 1990s. He was a key member of the "Hogs," a formidable offensive line notorious for their dominance in the running game, and he played a pivotal role in the team's three Super Bowl victories in 1983, 1988, and 1992.
