Joel Kwiatkowski, born on March 22, 1977, in Windsor, Ontario, is a retired Canadian ice hockey defenseman known for his strong defensive play and versatility on the ice. He was drafted 164th overall by the Florida Panthers in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft and began his professional career in the American Hockey League (AHL) before making his way to the NHL.
