Joel Otto is a former professional ice hockey player from the United States, born on October 29, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri. He played the majority of his National Hockey League (NHL) career as a center, primarily known for his physical style of play and adept faceoff skills. Otto was drafted in the sixth round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames, where he would go on to achieve significant success.
