Johan Harju is a Swedish ice hockey forward, born on May 15, 1986, in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. He began his professional career in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) with MODO Hockey during the 2003-04 season. Harju gained prominence as a skilled scorer and playmaker, eventually leading him to play in various European leagues as well as the National Hockey League (NHL).
Harju made his NHL debut with the Tampa Bay Lightning during the 2010-11 season, where he played 29 games and recorded 6 points. His performance in the SHL continued to shine, and he had significant success in the KHL with teams like SKA Saint Petersburg and Salavat Yulayev Ufa.
