John Fassel, born on January 10, 1974, is a former American football player and current NFL coach known for his expertise in special teams. A native of the United States, he played college football at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) as a punter. He went undrafted in the 1996 NFL Draft but eventually made a name for himself in the coaching ranks.
