John Grimsley (born February 25, 1962) was a professional American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the sixth round of the 1984 NFL Draft after a successful college career at the University of Kentucky. Grimsley played a key role for the Dolphins, appearing in 90 games and starting in 54 of those from 1984 to 1989.
