John Hufnagel, born on September 13, 1951, in Sacramento, California, is a former professional American football player renowned for his role as a quarterback. Hufnagel played college football at Penn State University, where he showcased his leadership and athletic skills. He was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the 11th round of the 1973 NFL Draft, beginning a career that would span several seasons in the league.
