John Longmire, born on December 31, 1970, is a former Australian rules footballer renowned for his distinguished career in the Australian Football League (AFL). He made his debut in 1988 with the Sydney Swans, quickly establishing himself as a formidable key forward. Over his 14-season career, Longmire played a total of 281 games, scoring 514 goals, and was pivotal in the Swans' resurgence during the 1990s.
