John Stallworth, born on July 15, 1952, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is a former professional American football wide receiver who is best known for his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (NFL). A standout at Alabama A&M University, Stallworth was selected by the Steelers in the fourth round of the 1974 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as a key contributor to the team's success during one of the most dominant eras in NFL history.
During his career, Stallworth played in four Super Bowls, winning titles in Super Bowl IX, X, XIII, and XIV. He was particularly known for his exceptional catching ability and deep-threat speed, finishing his career with over 5,000 receiving yards and 60 touchdown receptions.
