Jon Beason, born on January 14, 1985, in Pembroke Pines, Florida, is a former professional American football linebacker known for his tenure in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Miami, where he emerged as a standout defensive player, earning All-American honors and contributing significantly to the team’s success during his college career.
Beason was selected in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers, where he quickly established himself as a key member of the team's defense. Over his seven seasons with the Panthers, he was named to three Pro Bowls and earned a First-Team All-Pro designation in 2008, showcasing his exceptional abilities as a linebacker and leader on the field.
