Jon Sim, born on September 29, 1977, in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey forward. He was drafted in the fifth round, 127th overall, by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. Sim's junior career included notable stints with the Ontario Hockey League’s (OHL) Owen Sound Platers, where he showcased his scoring ability and earned attention from NHL scouts.
Sim's professional career began in 1998 when he signed with the Flyers, although the majority of his playing time in the National Hockey League (NHL) was with teams such as the Florida Panthers, Atlanta Thrashers, and the New York Islanders.
