Jonathan Hayes, born on August 11, 1962, is a former professional American football player who made significant contributions to the National Football League (NFL) as a tight end. After playing college football at the University of Iowa, he was selected in the 7th round of the 1985 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
