Joost Wijnhoud, born on June 10, 1969, is a retired Dutch professional tennis player recognized for his contributions to the sport during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He turned professional in 1985 and achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 69 in February 1990. Wijnhoud was known for his versatility on both clay and hard courts, which contributed to his competitive presence on the ATP Tour.
Throughout his career, Wijnhoud participated in all four Grand Slam tournaments, with his most notable performance being a fourth-round appearance at the 1990 French Open.
