Biography
Jordin Tootoo, born on February 2, 1983, in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his tenacity and skill as a forward. Tootoo was selected in the fourth round, 98th overall, by the Nashville Predators in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Over his 11-season NHL career, he played for several teams including the Nashville Predators, Detroit Red Wings, and New Jersey Devils.
Tootoo made his NHL debut with the Predators during the 2003-2004 season and quickly became recognized for his aggressive playing style and dedication to the game. Throughout his career, he recorded 33 goals and 80 points while also amassing over 900 penalty minutes, reflecting his physical presence on the ice.
