Jozef Stümpel, born on July 20, 1972, in Trenčín, Slovakia, is a retired professional ice hockey player who gained recognition for his skills as a center. Stümpel began his career in the Slovak leagues before making his way to North America, where he played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for teams such as the Boston Bruins, New York Islanders, and Los Angeles Kings.
