Juan Smith, born on July 30, 1981, in Bloemfontein, South Africa, is a former professional Rugby Union player, recognized primarily for his role as a flanker. Smith attended Grey College and went on to represent the Free State Cheetahs in the domestic competitions, where he showcased exceptional skill and work ethic that quickly drew the attention of national selectors.
