Juha Toivonen is a Finnish ice hockey goaltender, born on June 10, 1987, in Helsinki, Finland. Toivonen began his professional career in the Finnish SM-liiga with HIFK and quickly established himself as a promising talent. His skill on the ice earned him recognition, leading to his selection by the Boston Bruins in the 3rd round, 29th overall, of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
Toivonen made his NHL debut during the 2005-2006 season with the Boston Bruins, where he showcased his abilities in a challenging league environment.
