Biography
Julie Chu, born on March 13, 1982, in Fairfield, Connecticut, is a retired American ice hockey player renowned for her exceptional skills as a forward. A standout athlete at Harvard University, she helped lead the Crimson to the NCAA championship in 2003 and earned numerous accolades, including the Patty Kazmaier Award in 2003 as the top female player in the nation. Chu represented the United States in multiple international competitions, including the Olympics and World Championships.
During her illustrious international career, Chu participated in four Winter Olympics, capturing a silver medal in 2002 and 2010 and a bronze medal in 2006 and 2014. She has also contributed to Team USA’s success at the IIHF Women's World Championships, winning several medals, including gold in 2005 and 2011.
