Justin Mercier, born on June 25, 1987, is a former professional ice hockey player from the United States. A forward, Mercier developed his skills in youth leagues before advancing to junior hockey with the Chicago Steel in the United States Hockey League (USHL). His impressive performance at the junior level earned him a scholarship to the University of Notre Dame, where he played for the Fighting Irish from 2005 to 2009.
Mercier’s collegiate career was marked by significant achievements, including being named the team's Most Valuable Player in his senior year. Following his time at Notre Dame, he signed with the Colorado Avalanche in 2009, marking the beginning of his brief stint in the National Hockey League (NHL).
