Jyrki Lumme, born on July 16, 1966, in Hämeenlinna, Finland, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman renowned for his skilled play and notable contributions to the sport. Lumme began his professional career in the Finnish league before making the pivotal move to North America to join the NHL.
