Kam Chancellor, born on April 3, 1988, in Norfolk, Virginia, is a former professional American football safety known for his tenure with the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL). Chancellor attended Virginia Tech, where he played collegiate football for the Hokies. He was selected by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft, quickly establishing himself as a key player in the team's formidable defense.
During his time with the Seahawks, Chancellor was a key member of the "Legion of Boom," a nickname for the team's dominant secondary.
