Karl Dorrell, born on December 18, 1963, in Ojai, California, is a former professional American football wide receiver and current coach. He played college football at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he set several records as a standout wide receiver from 1982 to 1986. Dorrell was selected in the fourth round of the 1987 NFL Draft by the New York Jets and also had stints with the Dallas Cowboys and other teams, though his playing career in the NFL was relatively brief.
