Karl Dunbar, born on May 18, 1967, in Lumberton, North Carolina, is a former professional American football player best recognized for his position as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Dunbar played college football at Auburn University, where he earned recognition for his performance on the field and was subsequently selected in the sixth round of the 1990 NFL Draft by the New York Giants.
