Karl Goehring, born on August 23, 1978, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, is a retired American ice hockey goaltender renowned for his contributions to the sport at both collegiate and professional levels. He played college hockey at the University of North Dakota, where he became a key player for the Fighting Hawks, leading the team to win the NCAA championship in 2000. His outstanding performances earned him several accolades, including being named the WCHA Player of the Year.
