Karolína Plíšková, born on March 21, 1992, in Louny, Czech Republic, is a professional tennis player known for her powerful serve and aggressive playing style. She turned professional in 2009 and quickly rose through the ranks of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). Plíšková has consistently been a prominent figure in women’s tennis and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 1 in July 2017.
Throughout her career, Plíšková has won multiple WTA titles, including the prestigious 2016 US Open runner-up, where she reached her first Grand Slam final. She has also secured victories at the 2021 Italian Open and the 2019 Toray Pan Pacific Open.
