Kasper Björkqvist is a Finnish professional ice hockey player, born on July 10, 1997, in Vantaa, Finland. He is known for his exceptional skills as a forward and has made significant contributions to both club and international level hockey. Björkqvist played junior hockey with HIFK before being selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round, 61st overall, of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
Björkqvist began his professional career in Finland's Liiga, playing for KooKoo during the 2017-2018 season. He later moved to the United States, joining the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the AHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he continued to develop his game.
