Kawann Short, born on February 2, 1989, in Fort Pierce, Florida, is a former American football defensive tackle known for his impactful presence on the field. He played college football at Michigan State University, where he became a standout player, demonstrating exceptional skills that garnered attention from NFL scouts. Selected by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Short quickly established himself as a key contributor to the team's defensive line.
