Keith Ballard (born November 26, 1982) is a retired American professional ice hockey defenseman, recognized for his competitive play in the National Hockey League (NHL). He initiated his professional career after being drafted 11th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft but ultimately began his NHL tenure with the Phoenix Coyotes in 2003. Over the span of his career, Ballard played for several teams, including the Coyotes, Florida Panthers, Vancouver Canucks, and New York Islanders.
