Keith Byars, born on October 14, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio, is a former professional American football player known for his versatility as a running back and fullback. He played college football at The Ohio State University, where he garnered significant attention for his performance, earning All-American honors and establishing himself as one of the top collegiate players in the nation. Byars was selected in the first round of the 1986 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, marking the beginning of a notable professional career.
