Keith McCants, born on April 19, 1968, in Mobile, Alabama, is a former professional American football linebacker and defensive end who played in the National Football League (NFL). McCants attended the University of Alabama, where he excelled on the football team and earned All-American honors. He was selected in the first round of the 1990 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, establishing himself as a prominent player in the league.
During his five-year NFL career, McCants played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Houston Oilers, and the New England Patriots. Known for his versatility and athleticism, McCants recorded 143 tackles, 10 sacks, and several interceptions, contributing significantly to the defensive lines of his teams.
