Keith Wood, born on January 27, 1972, in Ballinasloe, Ireland, is a former professional Rugby Union player renowned for his exceptional skills as a hooker. He began his rugby career at a young age, joining the local club, Ballinasloe RFC, before progressing to the elite level within Irish rugby. Wood gained significant attention while playing for Connacht and later for Munster, where he established himself as one of the top hookers in the game.
