Kelsey Koelzer, born on June 16, 1996, in Lakewood, Colorado, is a prominent American ice hockey player known for her skills as a forward. She played collegiate hockey for the Princeton Tigers, where she made history as one of the program's standout athletes. Koelzer's impressive performance earned her recognition as a top player in the NCAA, where she became the first woman to be named captain of the Princeton men's team during its 2015-2016 season.
In 2016, Koelzer was selected first overall in the inaugural National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) draft by the New York Riveters (now Metropolitan Riveters), marking a significant milestone for female athletes in professional hockey.
