Ken Baird, born on February 1, 1951, in Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his strategic play as a defenseman. He began his junior career with the Niagara Falls Flyers in the OHA before being drafted into the National Hockey League (NHL) by the New York Rangers in 1971. Baird’s career spanned over a decade, during which he played for several teams in both the NHL and the World Hockey Association (WHA).
