Biography
Kenny Jackson, born on February 15, 1962, in Pennsauken, New Jersey, is a former professional American football player who achieved significant recognition as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Penn State University, where he was a standout player and helped lead the Nittany Lions to a national championship in 1982. Following his collegiate success, Jackson was selected in the first round of the 1984 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
Jackson spent his professional career with the New York Jets and later the Atlanta Falcons. During his time in the NFL, he was known for his exceptional speed and agile route-running, which enabled him to become a prominent target in the passing game. Over his five-year career, he recorded impressive statistics, culminating in a career-high season in 1985 with over 700 receiving yards.
After retiring from professional football, Jackson transitioned into coaching and mentoring young athletes, imparting his extensive football knowledge and experience.
