Kent Austin, born on June 25, 1963, in Greenville, Texas, is a former professional American football quarterback who achieved notable success in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Mississippi, where he displayed his skills as a dynamic leader and playmaker. Austin entered the NFL after being selected in the 1986 supplemental draft by the Ottawa Rough Riders before eventually joining the New York Giants.
