Kevin Cheveldayoff, born on February 4, 1970, in Glendon, Alberta, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player and current NHL executive. He played as a defenceman and spent his junior career with the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Western Hockey League (WHL). After going undrafted in the NHL, Cheveldayoff played for various minor league teams, including the Birmingham Bulls and the Orlando Solar Bears.
Cheveldayoff transitioned into management roles after retiring from professional play. He began his executive career as the assistant general manager for the Chicago Blackhawks in 2009, where he contributed to the team's success in drafting and player development. In 2011, he was named general manager of the Winnipeg Jets, where he has been recognized for his strategic roster building and commitment to developing a competitive team, leading the Jets to multiple playoff appearances.
