Kevin Gilbride, born on August 27, 1951, in Eagle Pass, Texas, is a former American football quarterback and an accomplished offensive coordinator in the National Football League (NFL). A graduate of Tulane University, Gilbride was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1975 NFL Draft. His playing career included stints with the New England Patriots and the Houston Oilers, although he is best known for his contributions as a coach.
Transitioning to coaching in the mid-1980s, Gilbride gained recognition for his innovative offensive strategies.
